Kris Lorch

Chair and Treasurer

Kris Lorch is the President and CEO of Alloy Engineering Co., Inc. She is a Director, Treasurer and founding member of the Metal Manufacturers’ Education and Training Alliance. Mrs. Lorch is a member of the TTAC committees for Platt Tech, Emmitt O’Brien and Eli Whitney Technical High Schools. In addition, she is a member of Housatonic Community College’s Regional Advisory Council, a Director of New Haven Manufacturers Association and current Chair of NHMA Workforce Enhancement Committee, a Director of the Park City Green mattress deconstruction/recycling facility, a member of the CBIA Manufacturers Advisory Council and CCAT Manufacturing Council. She promotes the Dream It Do It activities within Connecticut for the National Association of Manufacturers.

Gary A. Kraut

Vice Chair

Gary A. Kraut is president of G.A. Kraut Company Inc., New York City, an investor relations consulting firm he started in 1969. Mr. Kraut is Chairman of the Board of Impact Young Lives, a US/South Africa youth leadership organization and Vice Chairman of Greater Bridgeport Community Enterprises, a green economy business incubator. He is a director of the Fairfield County Community Foundation, a community philanthropic organization, Park City Green, a nonprofit mattress recycler and The World Affairs Forum, Stamford, Connecticut. He is an Advisory Director of Do Something, which helps over 2 million teens active in social entrepreneurship and he is the founder of The Professors Fund, which rewards teaching excellence.

Mr. Kraut is a founding partner of GovernanceMetrics International, the corporate governance rating agency and Special Advisor to the Board of General Solutions, Tokyo.

He has spoken on investor relations at forums in the United States, Canada, Asia and Europe. A visitor to over 50 nations, Mr. Kraut has written about traveling in Iran for Forbes Magazine and authored the introduction for a recently published book on investor relations in Japan.

Mr. Kraut is a graduate of Boston University and resides in Greenwich, Connecticut.

Vincencia Adusei

Vincencia Adusei is the President of “VASE Construction LLC” and “VASE Management LLC” (VASE), a private, construction management organization based in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

Ms. Adusei serves on the board of the Bridgeport Neighborhood Trust’s Continuum of Care Committee, a Bridgeport based supportive housing non-profit organization. She has been recognized by the Greater New England Minority Supplier Development Council, Senator Richard Blumenthal, Congressman Jim Himes, the Caribbean World Chamber of Commerce, Fairfield County Business Journal’s 40 Under 40, Connecticut Against Violence, Sickle Cell Disease Association of America: Southern CT Chapter, The Workplace’s Southern CT’s Regional Workforce Development Board, National Association for Women in Construction: CT Chapter, Heroes’ Villages, and the Matt Jones Foundation, for her strong community relations, business support, and advocacy.

Ms. Adusei earned her Masters of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut.

Terry McDonald

Terry McDonald, the executive director of the St. Vincent De Paul Society of Lane County, oversees programs that assist more than 84,000 people each year. He has developed 1,000 units of housing, created 350 new green jobs, and provided job training for as many as 800 people each year. He has developed a wide variety of recycling businesses that support the organization’s social service programs. McDonald, a University of Oregon graduate, succeeded his father as only the second director of the organization since its beginnings in 1953. He has overseen growth from a few local thrift stores to a multi-million dollar social enterprise and environmental agency.


Nathaniel Plotkin

Mr. Plotkin is a Tulane University and UCONN School of Law graduate. He has maintained a private law practice for over 50 years and, early in his career, played a major role in developing The Urban Coalition as the Chief of Staff for Mayor Hugh C. Curran. Mr. Plotkin has served as the Vice President for the GBCE board and currently serves as President of The City Lights Art Gallery. He is active in the effort to preserve and enhance the historic Freeman Houses in Bridgeport.


Robert Wall

As the Director of Marketing and Outreach for the Clean Energy Finance & Investment Authority, Mr. Wall manages the overall marketing for the organization and leads campaigns intended to drive demand for clean energy in Connecticut. He has also worked on clean energy marketing and grass roots initiatives with nonprofits SmartPower and Clean Water Action. Mr. Wall practiced complex civil litigation for nearly two decades in which he concentrated on environmental and public health issues. Mr. Wall is a Wesleyan University and Fordham University School of Law graduate.
